Shipping Policy

Our shipping costs are based on rates quoted by Canada Post and FedEx are reliant on the location, size, weight, and quantity of ordered items. We ship using Expedited rates as much as possible since they are slightly faster and our volume sometimes grants us this premium at the same price as the slower regular shipping.

Additional shipping charges may apply if the order item size or weight is unusually large or to a remote locations. In this case we will contact you prior to shipping the item.

We can ship products all over Canada, United States and internationally. When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment destination. Usually, items will be shipped within 24-72 hours, Local deliveries are usually done on Saturdays between 9am and 2pm. See below table for charges in Canada, United States and international shipping.

Irregular items with strange boxes and sizes for example playmat which have containers shall be shipped without the container due to cost. The playmat shall be placed with your regular orders and packaged as to not wrinkle during transport.

Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations, so please send us an Email at shipping@boardgamesnmore.com, if you would like to discuss international ordering quotes and options.

Once the order has been shipped, we shall provide you tracking information via Email.

Local Pickup and Drop-Off Policy

Customers will be contacted via email when your pre-order has arrived. All items ordered online for local pickup require the buyer to present a valid photo ID at the time of pickup and must match the name on the order.  No one else may be sent to pick up the order without notifying us by email. There are no exceptions. Items must be picked up within 5 business days. We reserve the right to cancel and refund (See Refunding policy) any orders not picked up within that time frame. We reserve the right to limit sales quantities.

• Pick-up at the purchase location (Pierrefonds, Montreal) is always Free.

Flat Rate Shipping in Canada

Note: Free shipping applies after all discounts, before taxes and shipping charges.

Note: Max shipping rates are based on average shipping cost. If the cost of shipping to your location exceeds our estimate, we will contact you for the additional difference in cost. We shall provide proof of the posted rates from our carrier with the email for transparency purposes. Rates can depend on several criteria such as rural locations, weight and dimensions of the product.

Note: Free shipping is calculated based on about 10% of the Subtotal of the purchase price of the order (Before taxes and after all deductions). In the event if the shipping cost far exceeds this amount due to weight or location of service. Additional shipping fees may be requested to complete the transaction. This will be communicated via email that is attached to the order. We shall also provide proof of the posted rates from the carrier for transparency purposes. This criterion also applies to normal shipping if it exceeds the estimated flat shipping costs.

(*) Some remote areas of Canada can only be serviced by air delivery thus shipping charge will not be standard. Additional shipping charges may apply if the order item size or weight is unusually large or to a remote location. Customers shall be notified prior to shipping via email for additional charges.

Flat Rate United States Shipping

We offer a Flat rate for United States Shipping. In some cases, the per item cost can be credited to your account if the additional items are small and low weight. Please contact us at shipping@boardgamesnmore.com if you think this is the case. There are no taxes for US shipping address but there maybe charges for duty, tariffs and other taxes by the government that the customer is responsible for covering.

Updated Jan 29^th 2026. Due to the removal of the de minimis shipping tax free for items less than $800. We now are required to pay duties on all items prior to shipping items made in China, as most board games currently are. We have therefore modified our checkout to include the tariff costs. We are sorry unfortunately we cannot absorb these costs due to the low margins and hence must transfer these to our customers. All amounts are in Canadian dollars. The rate currently is about 30% as you can see below for transparency purposes.

International Shipping

For International, please contact us at shipping@boardgamesnmore.com for a quote of shipping cost before placing your order online. We are working on providing a Flat rate shipping through our carriers, Hopefully Soon!!

VAT, tax, tariffs, and duty fees are not included in the order total; these charges may apply depending on the rules of the destination country. The customer is responsible for covering these additional charges.

Note: There are no taxes to US addresses on checkout, however there may be potential duty and other charges by the US government.
